Workers United Southern Region is a labor union affiliated with the Service Employees International Union representing over 15,000 workers in industries including manufacturing, distribution centers, industrial laundries, food service, janitorial, truck driving, health care, non-profits, and higher education. Our members are in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
We represent a diverse group of workers that are multi-racial, immigrants, interfaith, and multiple income levels though we primarily represent low wage workers.
Despite our differences we stand together as ONE Strong, Powerful Union!
